By accessing or using any part of the Wedjoin Awards site or by submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions, you may not access the website or use its services.

Eligibility & Submission Rules

Eligibility:

The Wedjoin Awards are open to professional and amateur wedding photographers who are Indian citizens, regardless of their current residence. Entrants must have a primary professional focus on Indian wedding photography. All submitted photos must be from a genuine Indian wedding or a related event.

Submission Guidelines:

All photos must be your original, sole work. By submitting, you confirm you are the copyright owner.
Photos must not contain any watermarks, logos, borders, or other identifying marks. Submissions with these will be disqualified.
Entries must be submitted exclusively through the official Wedjoin Awards website. We do not accept email or physical submissions.
You may be asked to provide original RAW files or untouched JPEGs for verification. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
Submissions must not contain inappropriate, hateful, or unlawful content. Photos must respect the cultural and religious sensitivities of Indian weddings.
Photos depicting violence, nudity, or human rights violations are strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification.
When naming your files, do not include your name, studio name, or any other identifying information.
Generally, photos from styled shoots, educational workshops, or those featuring hired models are not eligible unless a specific category is created for them.
You must have concern with your clients to use their pictures in this contest.

By participating in the contest, you agree that neither Wedjoin Awards nor Demand Oriented Solution is liable for any damages related to your participation.

Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Ownership:

You retain full copyright and all other intellectual property rights to your submitted photos. By entering, you grant Wedjoin Awards a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your photos on our website, social media, and in promotional materials for current and future Award editions. This includes use in winner galleries, publications, or exhibitions.

Credit & Anonymity:

While we will strive to provide appropriate photo credit, photographers will not be credited alongside their photos during the judging or promotional phases to maintain anonymity and fairness. Proper credit will be given after the final results are announced.

Third-Party Rights & Indemnification:

It is your sole responsibility to obtain all necessary permissions and releases for individuals, locations, or copyrighted material depicted in your photos. By submitting, you affirm that these permissions have been obtained. You agree to indemnify and hold Wedjoin Awards harmless from any third-party claims arising from your submitted photos.

Ethical Standards & Principles

Authenticity & Originality:

All photos must be your original work. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate, permanent disqualification. Photos generated wholly or partially using Artificial Intelligence (AI) are also strictly ineligible. All information you provide during the submission process must be accurate and truthful.

Fair Play:

You must not attempt to contact or influence the judges. Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage or manipulate the submission system will result in immediate disqualification and a potential ban from future awards.

Responsible Data Handling:

All participant data will be collected and used in compliance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection laws. While your non-credit card content may be transferred unencrypted, credit card information is always encrypted during transmission over secure networks.

Judging & Disqualification

Judging Panel & Criteria:

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts. Their decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process. Photos will be evaluated on criteria including creativity, technical excellence, emotional impact, and adherence to the category theme.

Disqualification:

If an entry is disqualified for violating these terms (e.g., plagiarism, failure to provide RAW files), no refund will be issued.

Payments & Refunds:

Submission Fees:

There will be standard entry fee for upto three photos. Additional submissions can be made at an extra cost as detailed on the website. Payment is processed securely online. You will receive an email confirmation upon a successful submission.

GST will be added to the final fees. Participants will not be eligible for Input Tax Credit (ITC) on these charges.

Non-Refundable Fees:

All submission fees are strictly non-refundable. Once a submission is complete, it cannot be canceled. No refunds will be issued for disqualified entries. If you face a technical issue with your submission, please contact us at awards@wedjoin.com with your transaction ID and a screenshot of the problem. We will respond to your query within 24 hours.

Service & Pricing Changes:

We reserve the right to change product descriptions or pricing at any time without prior notice.

Wedjoin Awards reserves the right to disqualify any winner and require the return of the trophy if a violation of these Terms & Conditions is discovered at any time, even after the winner announcement and prize dispatch.
